Overdue Congratulations

I am way overdue in publicly congratulating my hubby on being #1 out of 418 in SOS and receiving the Commandants Leadership Award (otherwise known as the CLA). It is a tremendous honor and I was thrilled to be there to watch him receive the award during the graduation ceremony for SOS.

It is by far his most "unusual" award, in that his grades only counted for 25%. The rest was made up by how his flight mates rated him in leadership, teamwork, etc., how the flight did as a whole, and an interview with 5 Colonel's. So this award in essence was really a team effort and much thanks goes out to his flight mates for working so hard!
