PAGES!!!! Yes, I just read that much with a 1yr old in my life!
Dumas is one incredible author! I have read 300 page books I thought were too wordy, yet he made almost all 1,462 pages seem necessary and enjoyable to dive into.
It took me 3 weeks, but still I accomplished it! I am pretty proud of myself as this is the longest book I have ever read. Around 1,100 I was definitely getting tired and wanting to finish it, but overall it makes my top 10 list of favorite books!

The Count is my favorite book of all time. My tattered copy has crisscrossed the country numerous times and has plenty of war wounds. You thought it was good the 1st time, wait until you read it again.
