Great Sadness
As I just posted previously, we all supposedly influence 10,000 people in our lifetime. Today at Virginia Tech there was the deadliest shooting rampage in American history and my family and I knew 1 person who was killed and another who was shot. What are the chances with over 30,000 students and +30 killed we would know a victim of this? It has completely caught me off guard. The tears were hard to control tonight as I struggled to work.
Rheema was the daughter of a friend and client of my Dad's. Her parents spent most of the day unable to get a hold of her and as the hours went by with no word, it was more and more painful to think she was gone. She was and is.
Katelyn and her family were neighbors of ours for years. I have known her for over 14 years. She and her mom came to my Bridal shower last Dec. She likes cooking, running and loved being at VA Tech. She is the baby of her family. The gunman shot her in the hand/arm. We don't know how extensive the physical wounds are.

My Brother, John and his wife went there. My other brother, James was just accepted into the Honor's program for the Fall. Many kids from my home church go there every year. This has hit incredibly close to home. Please pray for everyone; everyone including the gunman's family.
