Nathan, Tricia and Gwyneth

Please visit this website: http://www.confessionsofacfhusband.com/.

I cry almost every time I read their story! They are in desperate need of prayer (although I think that we all are in desperate need of prayer and just don't know it.) Their blog is one of the main reasons I love blogging and feel blessed by the technology of the internet! Without really knowing them, I can be praying for them and can read of how the Lord is working moment by moment in their lives.

Read it and have tissues nearby!

Nutella

My 3 favorite foods are: Bread, Cheese and Nutella!
I love Nutella! My favorite late night snack is nutella, mini-marshmallows and frozen fruit! Yum!
I think with the above being my favorite foods, it is why I feel at home in Europe! Fresh bread and great cheese is everywhere!!! Plus depending on the country, nutella crepes can always be found! If you haven't tried Nutella, don't hesitate any longer!!! If you live close by, feel free to stop by for a taste, otherwise, go buy your own!

Colorado Resident.....

My birthday was last week (more on that later) I was not and still am not really excited about being 28. I think one of the most random reasons I was not looking forward to my birthday was because my Massachusetts driver's license expired that day. I NEVER considered becoming a Colorado resident. Massachusetts has such a strong hold on my heart and I had considered for months, different options that would let me renew it without having to switch to Colorado. I am thinking though, that as a military wife, I might start collecting driver's licenses. It might be an interesting collection to look back over when Andrew retires....

So in the end, I am now a Colorado Resident! My Happy Birthday gift from the state of Colorado.
P.S. I think states that require your weight on the license are so unkind and unjust! (MA was not one of them, CO is!) Oh, and I hate it when they don't let you approve your photo! That is what digital is all about!!!!

Vacuuming

Along the same lines as shoes everywhere.....I feel like I am constantly vacuuming. I seriously have to vacuum sometimes 2 times a day with all the fur Boots leaves everywhere! Whoever doesn't think having a dog is good practice for having kids, needs to borrow Boots.....Muddy paw prints all over the hardwood floors, fur to clean up, regular baths have to be given especially after he has been chasing foxes, discipline is necessary, he is always wanting to play, "babysitters" have to be scheduled when we travel and just like a kid, he gets hurt. (the other day he sliced his paw in half and of course didn't want anything to do with bandages - but I digress :)

I think the reason I am struck most of all by the vacuuming is because in less than 2years I went from only needing a little hand held, dust-buster and using it only every few days.....To a house, where a full Oreck is needed every day!!!! (The Oreck is definitely the 8pd. wonder!!!) I miss those 600sq. ft. of living days!
